What is a Cell-Phone Booster?
Simply put, a Cell Phone Booster is a cellular repeater system. It consists of 3 devices:
Outside Antenna: Mounts on the side of the home, fascia, or roof and communicates with the cell tower.
Bi-Directional Amplifier: This amplifiers the signal to/from the tower and to/from the donor antenna.
Donor Antenna: This is the antenna inside the house that communicates with your phone or device.
We offer design solutions for Residential and Commercial clients. We have solutions for multi-carrier and carrier-specific requests. So if all carriers, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, etc. are on the nearby tower, our solutions will amplify ALL signals or just one. So how do we get started?
Easy, give us a call at 540-228-3111 and let us know where you are located, the size of your home, and your coverage needs. Some customers want only a portion of the house covered and some customers want the home, pool area, workshop, and barn covered. From there we will create a preliminary estimate showing the nearest tower, distance, a survey of the area surrounding your home, layout of your home (roof or fascia mount) and expectations. We will then email it, and call to discuss the solution.

Upon arrival we discuss the procedures with you. We perform an outside RF survey with a RF Survey Meter to determine the actual direction of the tower and the best location for mounting the outside antenna. We then perform an initial RF survey inside the home/building to have baseline readings, documenting the “before” signal levels for every band (4G/AWS/LTE/PCS). Afterwards we loosely run the cables to the amplifier and to the donor (inside) antenna, moving the donor antenna around inside the home until we find the best location for signals throughout the house. We would then run cables to the additional areas/antennas if needed. Finally we mount the amplifiers and dress the cables (cutting to length) in neatly. We will penetrate the house, if needed, with your permission — wall jacks and covers are available. When we have completed, we will show you the results on our meter and most importantly on your phone.
