For those industries, amongst others, reliable cellular reception is essential to keep operations running smoothly. However, Virginia’s diverse terrain – dense forests, mountains, hills, and Atlantic Coastal Plain – can make getting reliable cellular signal challenging at times. Different factors could be affecting the quality of your cell signal. Some of them include the exact location you live or work in, or how far the nearest cell tower is. Sometimes even the structural materials present in your house or company building can kill your signal.
Other times, it’s what’s around your structure: thick trees, tall mountains, rises and valleys – all can affect how and where your cell signal finds you. Sometimes, it’s all of these – a mix of building material, topography, and distance from the signal source can combine to shut down 5G and 4G LTE signals, causing deficient data speeds and lousy reception. The pricing was quit high, in my opinion, for only two hours of actual work. The company worked around my schedule and got me an appointment very quickly. The technicians were great. They were very nice and helpful in explaining the best place to install the system and the installation process. They were well trained and knowledgeable and did a professional job.

This is the 2nd time I've used Mercury Communications. First time was a few years ago to install a cell phone booster and this time to install my starlink satellite on the roof. Geneva coordinated everything and was very communicative and great to work with. The crew that came out were very polite and hard working.

We were referred to Mercury Communications by the vendor who installed our wi-fi signal extenders. We live in the country. Our home is constructed of concrete block and glass. Our cell phones were virtually useless. It was maddening. Mercury installed a system that made our phones fully functional! We can talk to people anywhere in the house, sit on hold without worrying about the call dropping and participate in conference calls without dropping. It was a complete transformation. We couldn't be happier and refer our friends and neighbors. The staff are friendly and professional. We highly recommend Mercury Communications!

I had Mercury Communications come out to do a tweak on our booster since the Tmobile / Sprint switch. The tech was on-time and very pleasant. After switching out the SIM cards he needed to, we had a lot of trouble getting any signal. We found out later that the Tmobile tower upgrade is not complete. The company is going to come back out when they are complete and finish the job. I appreciate all their hard work and willingness to make the signal work when I am sure it is difficult in our rural area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I would highly recommend Mercury Communications ALL DAY LONG!! Matt and his tech partner did an amazing job. They took time to carefully evaluate the best installation for out new Starlink Panel. Family in the living room
Upon arrival our experienced technician will discuss the procedures with you. We perform an outside cellular survey with an RF Survey Meter to determine the actual direction of the tower and the best location for mounting the outside antenna.
We then perform an initial RF survey inside the home/building to have baseline readings, documenting the “before” signal levels for every band (4G/5G/LTE). Afterwards we loosely run the cables to the amplifier and to the donor (inside) antenna, moving the donor antenna around inside the home until we find the best location for signals throughout the house.
We would then run cables to the additional areas/antennas if needed.
Finally, we mount the amplifiers and dress the cables (cutting to length) neatly. We will penetrate the house, if needed, with your permission — wall jacks and covers are available. When the work is complete, we will show you the results on our meter and, most importantly, on your phone.
